Jacqueline Davis Transpersonal Psychotherapist
I am a qualified transpersonal integrative psychotherapist. I trained at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in Paddington. I work within a transpersonal transcultural integrative framework using psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and Jungian methods such as dreamwork and creative visualisation to help connect and build a deeper connection to the Self.
I began my counselling journey at the Maytree sanctuary for people with suicide ideation. Followed by three years working as a therapist for Help Counselling and Freshstart. I undertook my psychiatric training placement working with the Psychiatric Liason at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a developmental coach supporting leaders in the charity, creative and health and well being sectors which includes the NHS.
I offer short-term and long-term transpersonal integrative counselling and psychotherapy. This is provided weekly in 50-minute sessions. My work is one-to-one and can be in person or on Zoom. I am informed and guided by the UKCP code of ethics, which can be read and downloaded here.

Your personal and professional development is at the heart of all that I do. I offer developmental coaching, counselling and psychotherapy. It can be confusing to know which service is most suited to the issues you want to explore and your developmental goals. To help you choose I offer an initial assessment which provides the time and space for you to explore and decide on the most suitable service for you in the place that you are in at this moment in time.
All my services are:
- Relational as change happens in relationship with another. To facilitate this I offer a strong, safe relational space for exploration and creation of desired change.
- Transpersonal in that we welcome the whole self into relationship. This includes mind, body, soul and spirit.
- Systemic in that we recognise that no person is an island and that we are all immersed in this systemic, cultural and relational soup.
Similarities and Differences Between Coaching, Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Developmental coaching is professional, future and solution focussed. I integrate all of the above approaches to facilitate vertical and horizontal development for sustainable individual, corporate and ecological change. The programme is tailored to the individual and corporate needs and sessions are between 90 and 120 minutes usually scheduled monthly. Goals, outcomes and milestones and reporting processes are agreed with all relevant personnel at the beginning.
Psychological coaching facilitates a deeper exploration of psychological drivers and blockers that move us towards or block us from achieving our desired change. We work to an agreed timebound programme with clearly defined success indicators. Sessions are between 60 and 90 minutes and can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly or monthly as appropriate.
Counselling focusses on specific issues and behavioural change. It is delivered in an agreed programme of about six to twelve weekly 50 minute sessions. It provides a space to process and explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviours and support desired behavioural change.
Psychotherapy is long term and can be continuous or intermittent over many years. It is most helpful when you are experiencing on-going patterns of behaviour , thinking or feeling that are negatively impacting on your life. This might include anxiety, depression, past traumatic events and/or childhood developmental trauma, inability to form or sustain relationships or a recent loss, illness or mental health diagnosis. Psychotherapy is provided weekly in 50 minute sessions.
